Mao Tse-tung. The name should sound familiar if not, the infamous history of that name backed by a man who long fought a rebelious coup against the Nationalist Chinese Party, should help you remember. You learned it most likely in Global Studies in your typical 10th grade school history class, while studying World Communism. A single man, divine with the souls of peasents of the Chinese empire and armed with a rebelous personality and education of the Socialist idealogies, rose up against in his view, a suppressing empire obsessed with the luxouries for the wealthy. Now, if that is true, that is a debatable matter which we will not discuss in this post. One thing stands out about this man, however. His leadership, charming charisma, and rebelious attitude ranks him amongst some of the greatest leaders in the 20th Century. His ability to unite a whole faction of Communist believers and lead one of the world's largest revolts in modern history.
